SYNOPSIS:
In a post-catastrophe wasteland, a woman and a bonfire fall in love. As their romance ignites, a pair of buffoonish World Powers seeks to enlist the bonfire for their war machine. dark is a different beast is an exploration of individual choice in the face of tyranny. What do you do when every choice is extreme? |

HISTORY:
"dark is a different beast" started as an experiment writing scenes based around a physical structure or sculpture. In 2012 I received a starter grant from the Puffin Foundation West and created the short film version of "ddb." Scenes from the play have been workshopped and performed at the Great Plains Theatre Conference.
