I've worked extensively both as an in-class teaching artist and an after-school director. From 2015--2018, I was the K-8 visual and performing arts teacher at Ring Mountain Day School. Each year I directed a play that involved every student in the school.
I worked in the
Theater Ensemble at Albany High School for 8 years, directing many of their shows. I was the  4th/5th grade drama teacher at Berkwood Hedge Elementary School in Berkeley for three years. Each year the 5th graders wrote and performed a full-length play. I've directed tons of musicals and plays with the Yes! Program where I also taught a summer devising/playwriting workshop with middle school students.
Other programs I've worked or still work in:
  • Civil War drama integration program at White Hill Middle School
  • Drake High School ("Metamorphoses" by Mary Zimmerman and "anon(ymous)" by Naomi Iizuka.)
  • Redwood High School
  • Yes Foundation of the Ross Valley Schools (Highlights include: "Legally Blonde, The Musical," "The Lion King," "Grease," "Chateau La Roach," "The Wiz" and an original, student-written play.)
